To my followers, please help save my hometowns. Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City are the worst hit areas of Typhoon Sendong / Washi. These are the cities I grew up in, the cities that are beautiful and that are full of beautiful people that need love and support, the cities that made me who I am today.

Here are ways you can help:

• Iligan: Drop off points for relief goods are at Pasillo (decide Shoppe24 and Calda, Pala-o), DXIC, and St. Michael’s Cathedral. If you are abroad or away from Iligan, you can help by donating One for Iligan. You can donate one dollar via PayPal for the relief efforts in Iligan. This is organized by Iligan Bloggers Society.

• Cagayan de Oro: Lots of drop off points are open right now. There is Xavier University, Xavier Estates, Mothers House by German Doctors. Soon-to-open ones are St. Mary’s School and Southwinds Hotel. If you are abroad or away from the city, cash donations may be deposited to Xavier University’s BPI account: 9331-0133-63.

Kagay-anons and Iliganons are in need of food (that can easily be opened and eaten without knives and stoves), drinking water, clothes and other amenities. You can also help by reblogging and spreading the word. Please.

GMA relief efforts in Cagayan de Oro are in Capitol University. Southwinds Hotel CdO relief efforts are in need of volunteers to help sort and pack goods.
